Crane Wheel Sets Introduction:
As a key component of the crane's traveling mechanism, the wheel group is mainly composed of wheels and shafts, bearings and bearing boxes. The quality of its own quality will have a great impact on the use of its intermediate level. The wheels are used to support the crane. A device that makes the crane run repeatedly on the track. The main damage to the wheel is common wear, hardened layer crushing and pitting.
The material of the wheel is generally ZG430-640 cast steel. In order to improve the wear resistance and life of the wheel surface, the tread surface should be subjected to surface heat treatment, the surface hardness is required to be HB300-350, and the quenching depth is not less than 20mm.
The horizontal deflection value of all kinds of crane wheels is an important technical parameter of the crane. If the deflection value exceeds the tolerance, it will cause rail gnawing, increase the running resistance, generate vibration and noise, aggravate the wear of the rail and wheels, and greatly reduce the service life of the crane. The technical conditions for the manufacture of similar cranes must specify allowable values for the horizontal deflection of the wheels.
The design structure that is more commonly used and the process measures are relatively simple is: the wheels are assembled on the bracket to form a wheel group, such as an angle bearing box wheel group and a trolley-type 45° split bearing box wheel group, which are installed on the main structure of the crane. Adjust the horizontal deflection of the wheel properly and fix it.
